I was watching this and thinking about what Russ tries to do and how it's doomed to fail. Now look at the strategy the Chiefs are using and why they are still scoring and other teams aren't. They force you into man coverage and then they really go to work.

Mahomes is the best QB in the league RN and it’s really not even close. He’s leading the NFL in pretty much every passing stat with a “meh” group of receivers.
Nobody else can do what the Chiefs can do with Mahomes. It’s why the Russell Wilson Trade was doomed from the start, even at his best Wilson was coming into the AFC West as the 3rd/4th best QB.
There was no point spending all those picks and money if we still couldn’t compete with the Chiefs, even with Wilson at his best. Might as well as just kept taking swings at the draft.

Andy Reid is one of the greatest offensive minds in the history of the game. Patrick Mahomes is a special talent who is a HOF caliber player under his tutelage. Andy has always been creative with his personnel grouping and how he utilizes players.
Good video. Attacking the flats and getting defensive players questioning their responsibilities to stick or drop (based on route combos) is definitely a great way to beat Cover 4 & Cover 6.
The Broncos suck ass with their passing route combo creativity. Doo doo!

the stats say that Wilson caused more pressure on himself than almost any other QB. And the Broncos line being marked as the ones responsible for allowing pressure by themselves is like 4 or 5th best in the league.
And the WRs dropped ~6.5% of Wilson's passes this year. But ~17% of Wilson's passes were marked as bad passes by PFR. Dude is 33rd according to PFF.
That's how bad Wilson sucks. A freaking back up is higher.
He throws to the wrong spot and the WR has to adjust to try to catch it and gets led into a hit from a safety instead of a wide open TD. He isn't accurate unless he's on the move... He's just lost in the mind.

Last week..on 3rd down...WR is wide open ..if wilson threw that ball, it's easy first down.
What did he do?... he threw long pass to Sutton(he is covered) and it was incomplete.
Good QB's just take what is given.. Russ sucks ..It's bad idea to give that much money for 34 year old running QB.

…Wilson has had plenty of opportunities to hit open targets. According to Next Gen Stats, when he has thrown ahead of the line of scrimmage, 21.6% of his targets have been wide open, with 5 yards of separation between them and the closest defender. It's the only category in which he leads the league, with Tua Tagovailoa just behind him in second place. Wilson has posted a 123.5 passer rating and 0.55 EPA/dropback in those situations, both of which are below league averages.

Denver would make Jalen Hurts look bad. Its a dumb culture. No surprise Wilson is the enemy now.

Jalen Hurts would have been a great QB for us.
I said that we should get ready to draft him when he transfered to Oklahoma from Bama... I legit though he was going to win the Heisman in his first year in a new system with new team mates... And he almost did. Back then I thought Hurts was the better Bama QB. But not by much.

That's a cool video. I watched it all and subscribed to that guy. Great stuff!
Something I got out of that video that I already knew just from watching, but the Chiefs offensive tackles are horrible in pass protection. Mahomes simply overcomes it by the rarest of skill sets where he A)has the gift of pocket presence...B)he is able to navigate a deteriorating pocket and still keep his eyes downfield and C) he has the arm to throw accurate passes to all fields regardless of feet/platform. Pat Mahomes is amazing.
