If you set your expectations accordingly, the let down is livable. But if by chance they win, and that’s possible, the high is incredible.

        That's just plain ugly.

The Chiefs are in the midst of their run of wins that will culminate in the no.1 seed and the AFC title again. As it stands, the winner of this game will be in first place in the AFC West.

KC is at home, coming off bye, The defense has gotten it's crap together. The offense has improved but they still aren't quite clicking so far. It's unfortunate for Denver that you drew KC both times, late in the season, because you all very well could have ended the streak and come up with a valuable division win had you played KC earlier when we were way off kilter. Too bad because this will be an "L" for the Broncos.

We finally have a relevant game in prime time. The goal needs to be to win. If the best we can do is have a great win followed up by not showing up (Eagles game), then it’s time to cut bait. Fangio, Shurmur & Teddy are all playing for their NFL lives. Hopefully they come through. I would like nothing more then to finally beat the Chiefs.

I expect that our defense should be able to do well. That said, Reid will have some crazy shot planned for the first few drives that Fangio needs to be ready for. Starting off down double digits will snowball in the wrong way. Mahomes is capable of picks and fumbles. Could use some turnovers.

The offense needs to run the ball stubbornly. I’d have our screen game ready. Chiefs defense has been bailing them out recently. They love blitzing & pressure. Going all pass is probably going to get Teddy knocked out of the game. Angry Javonte runs. Teddy needs a few big plays. Against the Cowboys he hit one deep to Timmy Pat. Sutton & Timmy can do that. Jeudy is capable. The TE’s have been playing well including blocking. Key TD against the Chargers.

The coaching staff needs to be up for this one. A loss technically doesn’t put us out of the hunt, but we need a victory against these guys and they are vulnerable.

KC has been rather lucky lately. You would have lost to a Packers team with Aaron Rogers. You nearly gave it up to a backup that’s not ready for prime time.

They didn't nearly give up anything. KC had a double digit lead the entire game until a meaningless late TD. Their offensive approach would have been different if Rodgers had played. We all know Andy's tendencies when he has a double digit lead that appears safe.

For all the talk about KC's offense being down, they're still 2nd in yards/game and only slightly lower than last year in that dept. If they continue to clean up the turnovers and drops, they'll start crushing teams given how the D is now playing.

Outside of avoiding Rodgers, this season has been the exact opposite of "lucky."

Lucky to beat Giants, lucky against Packers (no Rogers) and Cowboys missing half their offense.

Chiefs have any major injuries this year?

You guys aren’t going anywhere this year.

Anyone have status updates on Bolles, Risner, Massie, Jackson or Harris?

It would be nice to get a few starters back, but if they are still gimped, it could get ugly.

This whole season has been weird, and not just in the AFC West.

                          Haha....

You clowns say this every year. Bet you're not willing to put much dough behind that prediction.

The only luck involved in the NYG game was the weird bobble that fell into a Giants player's lap in the endzone. The Cowboys were without one of their top receivers and were already getting crushed before losing another receiver for the 2nd half. Wouldn't call that half their offense.

Bolles should clear, Risner is a go, Jackson is good I believe. I’m watching this as well. We should be getting guys back soon.

Season is odd in that teams seem to dominate for a couple of weeks only to get toppled.

They'll be among the favorites when the playoffs come. Hard to predict which way the ball's going to bounce.

Could Vic Fangio's job be on the line in the Denver Broncos' Sunday Night Football matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs?

It didn't take a Nostradamus to determine that Alex Smith and Matt Cassel wouldn't make a deep run. The situation's a bit different now.

The defense shut down the Browns and Bills last year. No one shut down TB, especially with a PI on every other play.
