  • Russell Wilson from a Seattle perspective

Russell Wilson quickly became my favorite Seahawk back in 2012, but eventually, I was happy for the team to make a change.

I hope things turn out well for him, and the Broncos.....after our draft picks have played themselves out.

I'm not sure if he will turn things around. Maybe he's washed, maybe his fire doesn't burn as bright as it used to, maybe its the new system, and maybe it's just all mental.

I thought that I would share a video from one of the local Seattle TV stations that pretty much sums up his story in Seattle. This video aired the night of the opening game, after the game was over.

Yeah, I have lived in Seattle since 1996 and celebrated the Broncos victories in back to back SB's. Then Matt Hasselbeck became the Seattle QB, and although he started out as a turnover machine, he grew into a good player. Almost winning a SB himself. Then Russell came to town and things really took off for the Hawks. I had to endure serious ribbing from my co-workers after the SB 48 loss. Today, RW seems like the Mr. Hyde to Seattle Dr. Jeckell (sp). His play has deteriorated so sharply and so quickly, it's hard to believe this is the same person.

He’s on pace to throw the least touchdowns in a season for the Denver Broncos.

Last year Drew Lock and Teddy two time combined for a total of 16 passing touchdowns. Russell has 7 with 7 games to go.

Bad WRs who drop passes 60 percent of the time.

Bad offensive line that cannot protect him.

Stupid head coach who fired the best offensive line coach in the league and replaced him with a friend with no experience at the position.

A stupid General Manager who allowed all this garbage to happen.

Russ is bad, definitely Mr. Hyde to Seattle’s Dr. Jeckell, but it’s not entirely his fault. I don’t think a guy goes from being a potential Hall of Famer to be in one of the worst passers in the history.

There has been rapid declines. Steve Young. Unitas. Cam Newton. Etc etc.

I think Wilson will retire before his contract is up.

          Include Manning also.

We got osweilered. Russ needs to be cut, these games are hard to watch, worse than Tebow’s first 50 minutes of games.

Paton thought he was getting a Ferrari and got a Chevy Vega. Horrible!

Russ is just washed up. I think the whole work on the craft and watch videos all day might be a sham. If he does it means he isn't very bright because he isn't learning much.

He's mentally declined. I'm telling you... It's brain damage.
he flashes back to normal but falters back again, his eyes are less powerful then flash to having a moment more of sparkles, then back again... He trails off when talking, he uses terms that are old, he speaks about 5% slower than the norm when he was not declined... all the tells are there for brain damage starting it's slow grabbing of his power.

He should retire and spend his days trying to be in this world before the haze becomes ever thicker.
