  • Aaron Patrick Suing NFL, ESPN & Chargers Over ACL Injury

I don’t blame him. So many extra people on the field. Most of which don’t serve a purpose.

Back in Week 6, Broncos linebacker Aaron Patrick suffered a torn ACL during a Monday Night Football Game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. The injury occurred after Patrick tried to avoid colliding with an individual on the sidelines. Patrick has now filed a lawsuit against ESPN, the NFL and the Los Angeles […]

Chances are his career in the NFL was going to be short/ now over. Some PI attorney thought why not.

IIRC Reggie Bush sued over something similar in 2014 or so and won like 10 million dollars...

I'm all for a back-up LB taking a few million from the Chuggers.

        That said....

We are a ****ing circus... So might as well.

I said it the day it happened. Good for him. Also, all these pinhead owners should be required to have grass fields.

I don't get this one. Sorry that is a BS law suit. Shit happens on the football field. It's not like they planned that to happen. If he wins then the next step is to take photographers off the field? For that matter no one allowed on the field sidelines .

Don't get me wrong, I feel for the dude. Hurting yourself to try and save someone is a noble thing to do. However getting hurt while playing Football is the chance you take and why you get paid what you do.

He’s losing out on the rest of the years paychecks and his career is probably over. There is WAY to much on the sidelines. It’s ridiculous how many people and equipment is there. This was bound to happen. I’m surprised there aren’t more injuries. Not just players but players that hit people standing on the sidelines.
