Bad luck I guess. I don’t know what a training staff can do to prevent most of this stuff. They all probably follow similar protocols. And Landow is a well known, well respected leader in injury prevention type training. I’m open to more ideas about whats going on though cause it does seem to be happening more frequently in Denver.

It’s league wide. A couple players with high contracts like Simmons inflated the cap number. Bears at 10 players Broncos at 13. 7 other teams at 13 or higher than Broncos.
Teams will list a hangnail in injury reports. That wasn’t the case in the past. You could have 12 players listed and 11 play on Sunday. That’s all that matters. Longterm IR is the stat to look at. This team only has a few players on season ending IR.
The difference on the list in the link is some other teams have depth. This team doesn’t. We mentioned this many times in the offseason that injuries will expose this teams depth.
when you have no depth injuries will always make an impact. This is why I made posts in the offseason about WR…CB….OL…LB that there would be injuries, and no depth to absorb it.Last edited by The1percentKid; 10-21-2022, 10:46 AM.

Chefs have lost a couple OL this year I believe. They just don't lose WR's because their routes are designed for YAC and perfect pat leads them so they get the YAC and not lead into a wall.

This can't be just weak players or luck. There are just too many every year. The thing is it goes well beyond this staff so putting blame on Hackett is not right as he wasn't hear for the last 5 or so years. It has to be deeper. It has to be strength and conditioning coaches.Last edited by quoydogs; 10-21-2022, 03:44 PM.

We definitely need a new training staff. ****ing lose starting LT, CB, RB, WR. I’m probably missing someone
And then countless small tissue muscle injuries like Meinerz, Cleveland, Wilson. Seems like the entire team has bad hamstrings. Wtf?
were definitely doing something wrong. It’s not all bad luck imo

Wolfe was talking about Baltimore having a bunch of injuries too. He said he thought it was their training staff. Team worried too much about be overloaded to get out of the gates early every season. He didn’t really finish the thought about the Broncos but it seemed like he was saying the training in denver wasnt a concern.

get rid of this loser Loren. What kind of name is Loren for a man anyway. He never has this team physically ready in the offseason. That’s why we drop like flies while the chiefs have zero injuries every year.
must be nice not having to rely on back ups at every position

The only positive from the injuries has been that we've gotten to see just how good our late round picks have been with some of these depth players. Singleton and Mathis have been pretty solid, especially when you consider that Mathis is basically getting every ball thrown at him now with Darby out for the season and Surtain taking away one side of the field. I thought Singleton was going to get run over the past two games, but he's been manning the middle just fine. Browning injury is going to hurt bad, but we'll see what Bonnito has to offer (even though he still needs to gain 10lbs of muscle next offseason). Now we just need Wattenburg to come in and outperform Cush or Risner.
