  • Randy Gradishar lunch meeting in Denver Sat Oct 22nd

You won't want to miss our next lunch meeting for the Denver Broncos Quarterback Club - with Bronco Ring of Famer Randy Gradishar! Randy isn't in the Pro Football Hall of Fame yet, but it is just a matter of time before the Hall voters realize what Bronco fans have known for years. Randy Gradishar deserves to be in the Hall!

The meeting is Saturday October 22nd at 11:00 am at:
    DoubleTree Hotel
    13696 East Iliff Place
    Aurora. CO 80014

Cost is $45 per person which includes a buffet.

After a stellar collegiate career at Ohio State (he was a consensus First-team All-American in 1972 and a unanimous First-team selection in 1973) Randy was the Broncos first round selection in the 1974 draft.

Randy played 10 years for the Broncos, and was especially known as the leader of the Broncos famed Orange Crush defense. For the 1977 AFC Champion Broncos Randy earned Pro Bowl honors and was named first team All-Pro. He anchored a defense that led the AFC in fewest points allowed.

Randy's accomplishments are too many to list in this short email. Former Broncos coach Dan Reeves described Randy best when he said, "He was as good a linebacker as I have ever been around, and I have been around some great ones. He was a leader without question of our defense while I was with Denver. He was an exceptional football player. I had a great deal of respect for him when I was at Dallas before I ever went to Denver. After I arrived in Denver and saw what kind of a leader he was my respect for him grew. He never missed a game and was a dominant force on the field. The opposing team always had to take him into account when they devised their game plans."

RSVP by Wednesday, October 19th. Cancellations after the RSVP deadline are non-refundable per person as the club is charged for the RSVP count we give to the restaurant. First time guests are welcome at the meeting.

This is a great time to renew your membership or join for the first time as we will be giving away 2 tickets to Bronco home games 10/23 vs the NY Jets, 11/20 vs Las Vegas Raiders, in addition to other door prizes!

Thank you for posting this, Titan!!! Randy is a great guy and this is going to be a memorable day. Wish I could be in Denver for it.

(we met Randy at the tailgate before the 2005 MNF game vs. the Chiefs... he was awesome; signed autographs for everyone and was just so gracious to all of us.)

I live in Arizona now so I won't be attending. I still help out the qb club with website updates and promoting their meetings.

Having attended a previous Randy Gradishar lunch with the qb club, and also a qb club game watch party with him, he's a good speaker. Signed a bunch of autographs too. Here is a blog post I wrote after Randy's last visit to the qb club in 2019 where I relate some of the stories Randy told:
