That trade is going to set the franchise back 5 years, I was never thrilled with him coming here.

Even though Russell Wilson hasn’t had a very good protection tonight, if he doesn’t pan out even the general manager George Paton will be fired

I don’t like to toot my own horn so where’s Shane? Him and I were the only ones calling the Wilson trade a fleece job.

                Ya Shane was right.

wilson is just garbage. Seattle execs know more than Broncos.

this is going to be long term suck for the next few years, on top of the last 6.

what’s that mean? Denver = Detroit Lions.

worst nfl organization by far. No other team is straight dysfunctional over years. Jets? Jets >>>>>> Broncos.

Paton should be fired at years end.

Wilson is not garbage, what are you people smoking?

Peyton was forced to run the pistol offense, how did that work out? Don't force Wilson to be a pocket QB, let him play in the way that made him what he is. So don't scramble as much. Just get players out of his not-quite-6-foot frame, he will do much better.

I'm worried that it's Russell's decision to play like this not Denver.

I was thinking the same thing. He doesn't want to get hurt at his age and is going to run less.

Russ isn't the problem. He's going to be fine. We need some better receiving weapons.

I was just checking the drop stats at Pro Football Reference, and I think they're out to lunch. They've only got our receivers credited with 5 drops so far this year. I swear I've seen more than that per game.

                                This.

They will figure out the offense. When you have a solid running game, everything else becomes possible. Jeudy was supposed to be our X factor, and he's been the main issue in my eyes. Hamler will probably make a couple good plays this year, but he won't make a weekly impact of any sort - time to move on from him this offseason. We definitely just need a couple sure handed possession receivers and this offense would be humming. I'm hoping that Dulcich performs like he did in college - he was good at finding weak spots in zone coverage and exploiting them. If we get at least one more receiver actually functioning like a pro, we will be golden.

Shit, at this point I'd take a flyer on Will Fuller. At least he's an experienced pro that could bust a big play every few games.

I kind of agree, you can tell he isn't comfortable in the offense. My question is are he days of running around improvising numbered, and how much will that diminish in 4-5 years? I do worry we signed onto a guy based on who he used to be, versus what he can become.

                                    Patience, people!

If the O is still bumbling around three or four games from now, I'll be concerned. In the meantime, enjoy some serious defense and vastly improved special teams.

The offense isn't doing what it did week 1 where they were running PA and boots with crossing patterns. They are doing PA/RA and throwing the ball in the same spots. Back shoulder throws, curls on the outside or check it to the RB. It has been very vanilla honestly without much creativity. Maybe the 9ers DL had them scared but they need to be more creative like week 1 with screens and crossers.

The game winning 80 yard drive was encouraging. Need more of that.

someone said our receivers suck. Outside of Sutton, we really don’t have much. Jeudy has been a joke and we have jags at tight end. Right now we are seriously missing Tim Patrick.

Agreed. Week 1 we were moving the ball with ease. Just kept fumbling it at worst times. Maybe seattles defense is that bad

The offense isn't clicking yet. Will it? I wish 4th quarter Russ would show up in the first half. That said, what you see in the 4th quarter shows you that he still has it. Scheme isn't horrible. Last night was a lot more conservative, didn't care for that. I think Hackett needs to be creative.

In fairness, they might’ve simplified the offense because of all the communication issues the previous 2 weeks.

The tell will be if the Broncos can turn the opening drive at home games into points. Dominant offenses serve notice and put 7 on the board right out of the gate. When/if Denver starts doing this, we’ll all be high fiving and saying Let’s Ride.
