Peyton was forced to run the pistol offense, how did that work out? Don't force Wilson to be a pocket QB, let him play in the way that made him what he is. So don't scramble as much. Just get players out of his not-quite-6-foot frame, he will do much better.Comment

They will figure out the offense. When you have a solid running game, everything else becomes possible. Jeudy was supposed to be our X factor, and he's been the main issue in my eyes. Hamler will probably make a couple good plays this year, but he won't make a weekly impact of any sort - time to move on from him this offseason. We definitely just need a couple sure handed possession receivers and this offense would be humming. I'm hoping that Dulcich performs like he did in college - he was good at finding weak spots in zone coverage and exploiting them. If we get at least one more receiver actually functioning like a pro, we will be golden.
Shit, at this point I'd take a flyer on Will Fuller. At least he's an experienced pro that could bust a big play every few games.Comment

I kind of agree, you can tell he isn't comfortable in the offense. My question is are he days of running around improvising numbered, and how much will that diminish in 4-5 years? The offense isn't doing what it did week 1 where they were running PA and boots with crossing patterns. They are doing PA/RA and throwing the ball in the same spots. Back shoulder throws, curls on the outside or check it to the RB. It has been very vanilla honestly without much creativity. Maybe the 9ers DL had them scared but they need to be more creative like week 1 with screens and crossers.Comment

someone said our receivers suck. Outside of Sutton, we really don’t have much. Jeudy has been a joke and we have jags at tight end. Right now we are seriously missing Tim Patrick.

The offense isn't clicking yet. Will it? I wish 4th quarter Russ would show up in the first half. That said, what you see in the 4th quarter shows you that he still has it. Scheme isn't horrible. Last night was a lot more conservative, didn't care for that. I think Hackett needs to be creative.Comment
