1st game ever in Denver!

    1st game ever in Denver!

    Hey,

    Major lurker from the mane. Glad I found the new board.
    Been a fan since the Broncos- Giants super bowl loss, but never made it out to Denver. I managed to brainwash my oldest son into becoming a broncos superfan, and now I get to take him to a game. We live in the east coast, and are super excited to be flying in to watch them this wknd.

    Was looking for a little advice on coming to the stadium in an Uber. Is there any spot that you all would recommend getting dropped off at, before the traffic gets nuts.

    Also any other advice/tips for going to the game?

    I saw my first and only game in Denver in 08. I hope you have as good a time as I did (34-32 win over the Saints). No relevant info to share but I hope you and your kid have a great time!

      im also from out of town
      Been to many broncos games. I always get an Uber to the stadium. Never had an issue. Just set the stadium as the drop off point. They usually just drop you in the front

      another option is to pay those bicycle guys to peddle you to the stadium. Could be quicker since you don’t have to deal with traffic as much

      have fun and enjoy the game
      my first game was also a Sunday night game. And the broncos won. Hopefully it’s the same for you guys

        Who wants to celebrate the coveted win-loss with us this week?!?!? Prime time football! Let's hope we don't crap the bed, what I can guarantee is the pre-game will not disappoint. We are tailgating in the southeast part of Lot M this Sunday (our normal spot) for the Niners game and all are welcome to come join us! Same deal

          I take the train and go to a bar in London with a shuttle. I think DNVR bar has one that drops and picks you up.

              Also really easy to take T-REX into the game, depending on where you're staying.

                TREX….. I haven’t heard that in 20 years since the construction? Do denverites still call I25 that?

                    My first home game was Dec 10th 2017. I wanted a snow game but got 65 and a sunburn.

                    We stayed on 16th street . It's awesome. You can walk back from the stadium. We walked down Clofax and found a really cool bar. I will let you know that street is a little sketch.

                    We ended a 9 game losing streak by shutting out the jets.

                    The home crowd has ruined me from going to see them play anywhere else.

                    Make sure you're in shape. When they are on D. It is a lot of work keeping up with that crowd screaming and jumping and well you'll see.

                    My wife hates sports but will drop anything is a second to go to a Home Broncos game. Its that awesome.

                    Good luck finding the Dip and Dots. I will say she said it was worth it.

                    Hit the southside for the cool shit.

                    Tailgaters are there and really great. Even scored a few beers for free. Although they did get 20 dollar bills hidden somewhere in there stuff as it was so cool to just have someone start talking Broncos football and say hey you want a beer, I had to pay then back.

                              Don’t let you’re section get quiet. I was super disappointed with Sec 105 last time I went to a game.

                              My first game was Chicago at Denver on Monday night in 1987. A friend of mine had season tickets and asked me which game I wanted to see. I picked this game because Chicago was a good team and I wanted to see Walter Payton play (my favorite non-Bronco player). It was a great game. Even though our seats were in the nosebleeds, I thought I had died and went to heaven. It was everything I had ever dreamed of. Hopefully, your 1st game will give you the same feeling.
