Not sure on his thinking. I can only hope that the QB room in South Bend was not in his favor. It's been a while since ND had a quality signal caller. I am interested in seeing what old man Hartman will bring to the table. Also, the Bama dominance is over..... I hope.

He's likely thinking that Hartman was starting this year and then he's got to beat out Carr, Minchey & Angeli next season.
Either Minchey or Carr was likely to beat him out next year, especially since the OC that ran a system he could thrive in left for Alabama.
Better to take your chances at Bama in a system you know like the back of your hand vs having to learn a new system and beat out 2 very highly regarded QB prospects.Comment
