compared to all the nonsense discussed this off-season, the AFC West is a dud. Hopefully things improve or the Chorfs will run away with another division title.

Not sure how overrated it can be if it includes two of the best teams in the NFL. And the Raiders added the best WR in the game plus an elite edge rusher to a team that was in the playoffs last year.
The good teams in the division beat each other a couple times in the first two weeks of the season, and the takeaway is "most overrated division in the NFL." Go figure. 🤣

Talent is stacked in the West.
Raiders have talent, but they are led by idiots. It tickles me that they doomed themselves with McDumass.
Chargers are probably better than a couple of playoff teams from last year.
KC is not as explosive without Hill, but they are not missing anything they can't win without and they got better depth.
Broncos have all the talent needed, just got to get past growing into each other
and their own mistakes.
Watch... by years end the KC crowd will admit that the Broncos are back for years to come, even if this year has growing pains.
no other division is stacked like the west.
That said... **** the Raiders.
I hope they go 0-17

The Chargers are loaded. Probably the highest ceiling in the league. Not sure if it will result in a SB win or just a playoff appearance, but it’s all there.
I’d give credit where it’s due if I thought the Broncos had it this year, but I don’t. I originally picked them to win 9, but now I don’t think they’ll get there. You can’t dismiss the Raiders due to the idiocy of their staff and then ignore the absolute disaster that is Hackett so far.
What made Wilson really good in the past was his mobility. That was a crucial part of his game and it’s all but gone. He doesn’t even attempt to run anymore. A lot of Broncos fans have pointed this out too.
The ground game is solid and there are some pieces on defense, but I see a team that’s going to be overwhelmed by the rest of the division. In this division (and conference), you have to either have a loaded roster or an elite HC/QB combo.

You don't understand.
Hackett is a guy that messed up with playclock issues. Those can be fixed and are somewhat acceptable from a rookie HC.
McDumass is off his noggin.
He will destroy the locker room and **** with the dynamics of the FO. He will call time outs without incident. But his divisiveness will leak into them.
And he will probably get caught cheating or talking shit about his own player.
And I didn't say they would go 0-17, only that I hope they go 0-17.

That was way before I saw Wilson Play.
Want me to quote what you said?
I adjusted my take by halftime of our first game.
But I still had hope Wilson wasn't brain damaged until halftime of game three. Hell I even posted a whole thread about my desire to Bench Wilson.
I seem to remember you claiming we would be a contender for a wildcard back then too.
