No one expected such a fantastic game. This is what we were hoping for. Appropriate to reassess. What’s your thoughts now?

Weird stuff happens every Sunday. I would like to believe this win means something, but it could just as easily be a fluke. If nothing else, I am willing to revise my record prediction up by a win. I now think we will finish 8-9. Just outside of drafting in the top 15 now.

The losses to Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cleveland all but sealed our wild card doom. Our record in the AFC is 2-4. Of our six remaining conference games, five are in our own division. Those will now decide Denver's playoff fate, and it's pretty much "win the division" or go home.
That's pretty grim. And the injury monster continues to devour this team like a stoner with bag of chips.
Screw the predictions, though. We're already on borrowed time so just take it a week at a time and fight like hell. This team has accumulated a lot of draft picks for next year and no one's job is safe. This is where we find out who the professionals are.

Weird. An above-500 record is just 11th of 16 teams. Go figure.
Odd they have Denver below KC.
Denver actually has the best net points of any AFCW team. If they can just get to 23 points per game. Need 1 extra FG per game.Last edited by ceh; 11-08-2021, 02:46 PM.

This game was a fluke game and I wouldn't get your hopes up. This game was the definition of a "Trap Game " Yes we are that team now.
Look this game proved one thing. We have all the talent we need to make the run. It's 100 prevent the coaching staff preventing us from making that happen. They are unwilling to change. Fangio was bringing pressure and the D fed off of that. They weren't playing flat anymore, it was nice to see.
Sadly though next week we will go back to the same ol bull shit we have been watching all year I am sure. I'm done with this coaching staff. They are old and outdated.

but look at our rivals...
They are shit in the middle of the race type organizations. I give us 25% chance of winning the division. We poop in the middle a lot lately ourselves.
