Better dropping an away game to NFC opponent early and learning lessons than rookie coach mistakes coming in a division game.
Think of it like this:
Back to back fumbles on the goal line hasn't happened to anyone else since KC did it more than 30 years ago. That's an anomaly. Without that oddity Broncos win and no one sees a 64 yard FG miss.

I said it before, I'll say it again: the Broncos response to this coming game will tell us waaaay more about Hackett & his staff than his blunder at the end of his first game. All coaches make mistakes, even big ones. It's how they adjust to them that makes the difference.
The players know if their coach is the real deal or a clown. Their response will be a better gauge of where the team is than fan hysteria.Comment
