Moderator note: For those of you attending the home opener on Sunday, this thread should be of interest. I think that one of the great things the Mane did early on was to connect posters with other posters. I never was able to participate in that. But most of us who have been around for awhile have at least seen pictures from some of the great events Meck used to host in his bus, Orange Force One. Really solid friendships were made through that. I don't know what this booze stuff is that SonsOfMileHigh is referencing in the post below. I can only imagine it's the higher-end brand of root beer - the IBC, and whatnot.
Hey all! Rough week 1, so let's focus on having fun before the game this week.
We are tailgating in the southeast part of Lot M this Sunday (our normal spot) for the Texans game and all are welcome to come join us!
Food and booze, no strings attached just like having a good time. Message me if you like otherwise look for the Sons of Mile High flag, blue trailer, blue bus and bright ass yellow Fireball tent or a black Tailgreeter tent (our sponsors). We will be lined up early and set up around 10:00 AM or so, ready to rock. Ask for Mike (me) when you get there so I can say hi. We are 100% free, and always have some stuff to give away. We also have the early games on a couple TVs and plenty of games and music.
On the menu this week, walking tacos :-)
We started partnering with Tailgreeter last season, they have an app to find tailgates all over the country. Totally free to use and if you are interested here is the link to this game. It helps us, but is not necessary. Just gives us an idea of how many are coming. Hope to see some of you there!
