The fact he sees the field as much as he does when we have Williams balling is what I’m pissed about. Why we don’t give the ball to Williams on the goal line in a goal line I-formation is beyond me. Gordon is a fumbler. That’s just what he does. Williams fumbled once all last season, iirc, so he gets the benefit of doubt today. All RB’s fumble once or twice a season, that’s normal, but Gordon takes it to a new level. With all the good he does, he can’t be trusted, and that’s a shame.

I never remember Gordon fumbling to the Broncos when he was a Charger. Maybe I’m wrong on that, but I’m not sure I am.
All I do remember about him as a charger is that he made no effort to slow down when he ran over Wade, and put him in the hospital. That still bothers me to this day.Comment

Years ago, I remember Bill Parcells telling an interviewer why certain backs fumble the ball more than others. It was mostly forearm length. Too short of forearm, like Eric Bieniemy (I think was the example he used), or someone that had too long of forearms.
