  • Anyone here have any experience with the student version of NFL Sunday Ticket?

I have a son that would be eligible for it. I think you watch it on a computer, phone, or ipad. What I'm wondering is if you have any way to dvr games, so that you can watch them on a slight delay.

SLC has always been a Broncos market. The only times we wouldn't get the games was when the Broncos got down toward the end of the year, they were out of playoff contention, and there was a big game with playoff significance competing in the same time slot. And even then, it rarely happened. Now with the Raiders being in Las Vegas, I keep expecting them to replace the Broncos here - Las Vegas is closer than Denver. When that happens, I want to be prepared. I can always find streams to watch. But with church commitments, there are times when I can't watch it live. If there is a way to record streams, I don't know about it.

    Anyone?

Well the 120 dollar version only has short version of the games. The 200 dollar version has coaches all 22, regular broad cast and short clips. I think you have to let the game finish. It works great on a smart TV with Sunday ticket app. I have used that version for many years. Only works on 1 TV log in though so you can't log into multi TV. If you don't have a smart TV a firestick or something similar works. You could just do iPad or phone also but why not put it on your smart TV. Make sure you have good internet which most places do now.

Not the student version. I did try to use the sunday ticket app on my ipad and it told me I couldn't watch any of the games because i was inside or close to a stadium. Soldiers Field is like 30-40 miles away from us. That pissed me off and then they changed the NFL.com app, the last couple years they would let you get the games in your market on the phone app for free and now you have to pay. Plus the NFL hosed up their app so you can't find player stats in the game mode, maybe they moved them but it was fine the way it was before they price gouged us.

Lastly, this is the last year Directv has the ticket so who knows what happens next year. Might be worth paying full price for one year.

This is true - on your mobile device.

The NFL allowed you to stream that mobile broadcast to another device during the preseason, but they had that fixed yesterday. NFL+ works fine on your mobile device, but don't expect to be able to "stream" that from your phone to your TV (like I had hoped).

I ended up logging onto some streaming broadcasts (Markkystreams and streamseast.xyz). If anyone has other stable sites they use to stream, please post or just DM me. I've done Sunday ticket for 12-14 years but just had it this year and cut the cord with DirectTv. YouTube TV has been great for me, but I'd like to have a few dependable streaming sites bookmarked this year until Amazon probably get the NFL streaming contract next year.

It's confusing, because if you have Hulu + Live, you can order NFL+. The site does say "Watch live out of market games."

              Glad you mentioned this.

StreamsEast was the most reliable site for me yesterday. All the others were suspect. They are cracking down on them hard.

https://reddit.nflbite.com/ is a good website that will list a lot of services when games go live. I'd say 85-percent of those listed went down the other day.

Just be sure to have an AdBlock program installed in your browser or risk getting hammered with advertisements, etc.

It would be nice if Directv would offer Red Zone as a stand alone channel.

Really this thread has me more intrigued by the thought of a horde of Mormon Raider fans staging a leather-and-studded hostile takeover of the State of Utah.
