Aaron Rodgers trade rumors, again

Much like Wilson made it a point to say the Broncos suck now and into the future cause the trade clause statement, Rodgers also won’t want to come to a team starting a 3 year rebuild. He’d retire if he ends up in a bad team.
Broncos will be in line of the Teddy tier yet again. Maybe if they are lucky the Matt Ryan/Cousins tier.

Plus -- if disregarding covid rules has put Lock into coaches' doghouse, then it would make no sense to pursue another QB who is just as likely to disregard covid rules, but has too big a name and too hefty a price tag to relegate to the bench.

Unless someone emerges as a new Von Miller... (Which even Von couldn't do in Stupidgio's read and react scheme.) Who wants to come to come to the Broncos?
Might as well admit Broncos are the new scum of the AFC. Gonna take 3+ years of successful rebuilding to make a top QB want to even entertain us as a possibility.

I'd say Denver is still the most likely destination for Rodgers. What happened to all of you guys saying you had the best roster in football minus a QB? what changed?
Also..."Rodgers would retire before coming to a 3 year rebuild" WTF? Rodgers makes any team in the NFL an instant contender...
Andy Ried took a 2-14 Chiefs team, added Alex Smith and went to the playoffs the following year.......but Rodgers can't do that with your roster and a new/good coach?
It's plainto see that Denver isn't going to be picking high in a bad QB draft year...Rodgers will be available..your roster isn't that bad....He'll be a Bronco if he doesn't stay in GB.

This is why many of us wanted Rodgers or Watson, they could’ve made enough plays to make a significant difference this year.

Drew Lock disregarded league covid rules. This is a fact.
Aaron Rodgers disregarded league covid rules. This is also a fact
Both players had to/have to quarantine and miss playing time as the direct result. In Lock's case, the Broncos were required to play a game with no QBs. In Rodgers' case, he probably just gifted a win to KC that they do not deserve.
No. one. compared the talent levels of Lock and Rodgers. That's like comparing Tim Tebow to Peyton Manning. Get real.

Rodgers will be fine. There is no suspension. And he won’t be suspended. If anything it will be a fine if he broke rules.
And on edit -- Lock obviously learned nothing whatsoever from his first covid exposure.Last edited by Blueflame; 11-07-2021, 08:21 AM.

gets suspended, for deliberately violating league covid rules. Rodgers is even whining about being called out for it instead of manning up
and admitting he did it. At least Lock took responsibility for a mistake. The diva is too big a celebrity to even do that.
I hope he gets fined a huge amount for deliberately ignoring covid rules repeatedly since training camp. A fine isn't really enough, IMO.
