  • Emmanuel Sanders Retires as a Bronco.

Loved his play. Loved his attitude and I'm glad he decided to retire a Bronco.

The picture goes down as one of the all time iconic broncos moments in history.

I could be totally wrong but didn't he kind of talk trash on his way out and after?

Kind of. But it wasn't anything out of hand. The organization was a mess.

There a wideout named Eddie Kennison who did the exact opposite in 2001. Shortly after 9/11, on the night before a game, he quit on the team. Said he wanted to retire. So Shanahan gave him his release.

Then a couple weeks later he pops up on the chefs roster, talking trash about Shanahan:
                      .
"As long as I was there, (Shanahan) had his favorites that he liked being around and he liked having," Kennison said. "Why do you think John Elway left? John Elway didn't like that guy. It's just the type of person that he is. It's either his way or no way. If it's not his way, you hit the highway."
                      .

                      Guy was seriously confused.

Salute Sir Sanders. May you have a happy retirement. You will always be a Broncos bad ass to me.

I definitely remember that. I'm thrilled Sanders did what he did and we really didn't lose anything when Kennison bailed. And he ended up looking the idiot in the end and Sanders helped us win a SB. Thanks again ES

Loved, loved, loved the way he played the game. Full effort, every play. It sure wouldn't hurt to have him hang around our young guys as they develop the right "fighting" attitude.

I hope he enjoys his retirement!

The people’s champ. Everyone loves E for the fearless competitor he was. Pound for pound one of the toughest WRs I’ve seen.

Wolfe retired, Sanders retired…it’s time for Chris Harris Jr. to come home too.

CHJ turned on the team and the fans when he left. Screw that guy.

If he talked smack about the coaches. He was right.
If he talked smack about our QBs... He was right.
If he talked bad about the organization structure, it changed along with the coaches and QB.

If he dissed the fans... Then he's as stupid as Fangio.

Who cares how it ended when everything about the franchise sucked. It doesn’t diminish his amazing run here.

I don't remember exactly what happened but I know when CHJ went to the chargers he put out a statement bashing on denver and it included the fans. There was a big thread on it at the OM.
