    PGA Under Full Frontal Assault



    Six-time major champion Phil Mickelson and 10 other golfers on the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series filed an antitrust lawsuit Wednesday to challenge their suspensions by the PGA Tour.

    Talor Gooch, Hudson Swafford and Matt Jones, who are three of the 11 golfers listed on the lawsuit, are seeking a temporary restraining order that would allow them to play in the Tour's FedEx Cup Playoffs, which is set to begin next week.

    Good, I hate the way the PGA has gone about dealing with LIV. All the victimhood by their commissioner is such a turnoff. They are absolutely petrified of competition. I hope they get their ass handed to them.

      they even wanted to punish a player for just talking about the positive experience they had with LIV.

        Yeah, they really needed to play it cool through this whole thing. Eventually someone will get tired of burning stacks of cash on LIV, and PGA just needs to keep the best playing PGA events and wait them out.

            Problem is the PGA is attacking the talent instead of the competition.

                I still say it's a brilliant scheme to make women shut up well the fellas walk off to not be bothered by constant Blah blah blah. Call that a sport or any other name, also the mini skirts on the ladies works too. But watching is different than doing. I'd never watch golf.

                Look up George Carlins special on golf and how golf takes up all the good land. I share the same opinion

              Yeah, and there's enough churn in the PGA rankings that they could've ridden this out. Especially if they kept those stars playing both tours instead of locking them out. LIV can't buy everyone.

                My respect for Tiger Woods went up after he turned down $800 million from LIV.

                My respect went down for all the lesser players accepting just a fraction of that from the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund and turning their backs on the PGA tour that made them famous.

                  I agree. With all the money being thrown around, can't believe Liv couldn't buy their way into the existing tour. Must be some real bad blood going on.

                  Let them play both.

                      PGA will eventually have to work out a deal with them. After the FedEx cup they will lose some bigger names too like Cam Smith.

                        I don't get it. Last weeks Wyndham's leaderboard was a bunch of no-names. They should let the players play where they want.
