  • Last Mobilization in War - The Children

Full clearance in less than a week ... shots in little-bitty arms in 10 days.

The FDA Green-lit Covid vaccines for children ages 5-11

A panel of independent advisers to the Food and Drug Administration is recommending that the agency issue an emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in children ages 5 to 11 years old. The vote was 17 in favor and one abstention.

The FDA panel accepted Pfizer's data indicating the vaccine is safe and 90.7% effective in preventing COVID-19 infections in this age group.

The agency typically goes along with the advice of its expert panels, though it isn't bound to do so. It will issue a decision within the next several days. If the FDA authorizes the vaccine for younger children, as seems likely, another panel of experts advising the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would make recommendations on its for this age group next week.

They’re willing to die to provide political cover for their failed coup leader.

          Sad!

Yes, I was serious about this. The pictures shouldn't take away from that.

There are plenty of vax-deniers who will skip vaccines for their kids, and persuade others to skip them for theirs. And kids will die because of it. Maybe not 10's of thousands, but hundreds. And their deaths are a result of the tribal "Us vs. Them" gulf war in our society.

Saddest part is vaccines - especially vaccines for kids - are NOT an appropriate battlefield for that war, and the kids are not appropriate combatants.

Everybody should remember it was TRUMP HIMSELF who started "Operation Warp Speed" which resulted in the miracle of these vaccines in less than a year. By our bi-partisan agreed-upon method of meting out credit and blame, TRUMP gets the CREDIT for that miraculous achievement (whether and to what extent he actually deserves it). Yet the Anti-Vax Nation (by all measure a sub-set of the Alt-Right / pro-Trump nation) appears uninterested in crediting him, or following his advice to get the vaccine. Maybe they're magnifying their Fauci-hate - (started when Trump got jealous of the attention and respect given Fauci the first couple weeks of the WH daily updates - jealousy that resulted in Trump removing Fauci from the updates. Then, as the star, Trump couldn't just parrot what Fauci had been saying, he had to have something different, so ... hydroxychloroquine and a general distrust of mainstream science and medicine, and.........) ... and THAT might be what has led to the Anti-Vax stance, and their strange failure to follow Trump and credit him for something he actually deserves.

But no, now that I've written all that I realize what I REALLY believe is there is a personality type common among 'pro-Trump/Alt-Right' types that just happens to also manifest in the stances of anti-Vaxxers. A kind of sovereign citizen-like "I know best for me" ignorance, that pushes away all vaccine common sense, calling it "too pushy."

Dying from COVID (and allowing their offspring to die) is their way of "owning the libs." 😉

If -- the vaccine was dangerous, then the wealthy and powerful would not have been cutting to the front of the line in order to be the first to receive it. (as they did)

If it were dangerous the wealthy and powerful would have stood back and waited to see if others (poor people) reacted negatively to it.

So obvious - yet so completely lost on the MAGA brain trust.
