It's glorious.
In case you haven't been following, I'm going to fill you in. Here are the three main characters:
1) Zach Wilson - QB - NY Jets - you might have heard of him. Zach went to my kids' high school. He is a year younger than my son. While he was there, he was dating a girl named Abbey. (I won't use her last name, even though it is now everywhere). So,
2) Abbey - Zach's girlfriend. She dated him all through college, and was with him in Cleveland the night he was drafted. I think she was pretty sure she was going to marry him.
3) Dax Milne was Zach's best friend and roommate all through college. He was a stud WR at BYU.
Now, with all of that said, the New York media reported in March that Zach and Abbey had sadly stopped seeing each other. Since then, Zach has been reported to be with a lot of other women.
This weekend, Dax Milne puts up a sweet picture on a beach of him and Abbey, embracing. They are apparently dating quite seriously. Zach and Dax have blocked each other on social media.
In the Instagram thread with the picture, someone refers to Abbey as a "homie hopper." Abbey, apparently having no common sense, responds, "Really? Homie hopper? Okay, how about this? The reason Zach and I broke up was because he admitted to me that he had slept with his mom's best friend."
