    Rumor mill. Trade with Eagles

    Just read a report that said the Broncos may working a deal. TBW for the mustache.

    For the record. I'm totally down with this. Make it happen.

    I wouldn’t mind Minshew. That’s who I would have targeted as competition for Lock.

      The more likely scenario would be trading Fuller or Lock for Minshew. Lock and Fuller are seemingly in the doghouse.

        Doesn’t make sense for three reasons. One, why didn’t the Broncos go after Minshew when the Jags were trading him? Two, why would the Eagles want TB? Three, why would the Broncos trade the guy they seem to think is their best QB?

          1. Because Denver is stupid.

          2. Eagles would ask for someone else…a rookie contract good player.

          3. Denver cannot evaluate QBs…ever.

            SI is pretty much just click bait, so I’d take it with a grain of salt.

            As it’s been stated, it would’ve made more sense to trade for him at the start of the season, but this team’s FO clearly isn’t the brightest.

            Anyway, Gardner Minshew, he doesn’t have a strong arm, this board will absolutely hate him, so that’ll be funny at least.

              Ya I’m trying to see the point in doing it. There is none. Why the hell would denver trade for players right now? It’s draft Capital they need.

                I get they are a weak source. However the Broncos organization now know 100 percent that they are not making the play offs.with this team.

                They can get Mustache for a better bargain now. Fangio also needs to do something big to save his job.

                Lock pissed someone off in a big way. Only way he sees the field this year is if TBW gets hurt and I'm pretty sure it would be that game and then the Broncos would pick someone else up.

                Mostly I'm just hoping for something at this point.

                                      Any rumor that has Denver trading for a QB is garbage. Paton went and got Bridgewater. And you have Lock. Paton isn't expending anymore resources on THIS staff or for this staff's benefit. The next QB will be the product of Paton, and the new staff all being on the same page.

                                      Making moves for middling starters to back-up level QB makes no sense… TBW and Lock are the options, plain and simple.

                                          Ok, crazy thing happen yesterday. Me and the wife were heading out to a friends house on the river. I had the navigation going and it had us going on some back roads and what have you. So we turn on one road called Drew Lane. Next it has us turn on Lock Rd. I turned to the wife and said, ok that is pretty freaky. I said you watch, Lock will be either starting the next game, or he will end up playing cause something is going to happen to TBW. Now I see this thread.
