I was reading 'Kenny Pickett can elevate NFL Draft stock with a great game vs Clemson' on FanSided for iOS and I thought you might be interested in reading it too.

Stock picks and maneuver for positioning in 2023 seems to be the message there.

I see "we got to trade for Rodgers" written between the lines.

Screw the Steelers, come to Broncos Country (and a new owner)
The Pittsburgh Steelers have struggled at quarterback as Ben Roethlisberger reaches the end of his career and Kenny Pickett may be his replacement.

Every year we talk about drafting QB and ILB. Our FO keeps ignoring those positions.

I agree. We did draft Lock. We just didn’t want to play him.

This is the QB I think you need based on the new system if Vic is let go

                  1. Carson Strong - Leftwich (vertical attack) , Kellen Moore
                  2. Matt Corral- Mike LeFleur, Kevin O’Connell (WCO Wide Zone)
                  3. Malik Willis- Brian Daboll
                  4. Desmond Ridder -Brian Daboll

                      Ugly list.

Mac Jones would go 1 in this draft and it wouldn’t be close. That’s how bad 2022 will be. Of course they’ll be hyped come Feb and beyond much like Paxton was, as well as a ton of others.

Drafting a QB in first round(drafting Allen over Chubb or Mac Jones over CB)

No drafting Allen may be the biggest mistake ever. Mac Jones looks like a miss as well.

It’s amazing how many different careers there are where if you’re wrong it matters none…from these sports analysts to politicians to weathermen etc etc.

Last year at this time, Mac Jones was Undrafted FA. The kids don't play at big school but they are not as bad as people think.

                                        10. QB Malik Willis, Liberty
                                        6-1, 215 lbs

Willis has seen his star fade slightly in the last few weeks due to turnovers—six interceptions over the course of two games—and taking too many sacks (six each against North Texas and Syracuse)—but scouts see the traits in Willis and I agree. He’s working on a team with limited talent around him and being asked to carry the load. His projectable skills are still the best of the quarterback class.

                                        11. QB Matt Corral, Ole Miss
                                        6-1, 206 lbs

The 2022 version of Zach Wilson; Matt Corral is a fiery, athletic, quick-releasing quarterback with a big arm and good vision. He’s cut down on his mistakes (one INT all year) and is playing fast, loose and productive football. Questions about his size could linger without elite athletic traits, but right now he’s the best quarterback in college football among the draft-eligible passers. His stock continues to rise for me.

No one had heard of Joe Burrow until his first and only season at LSU. Rarely does this happen but most years there’s always a few guys that emerge.

I wrote in another thread that I like Pickett and Riddler. I have not had a chance to watch Corral, Strong, or Willis play this year. I don’t know if any of these quarterbacks will be first round worthy, but quarterbacks are always over-valued come draft time.

Carson strong just passed for 476 yards, 81% completion rate - and he is an aggressive downfield passer. He’s the best in this class and is a better prospect that Lock.

I like Strong alot, but his draft stock will be dependent on medical exams on his knee.
