Broncos Country recently lost a guy that deserves to be remembered.
The first Starting Black QB of the SB era.
Marlin "The Magician" Briscoe.
He went on to win two SBs with other teams as a WR. He was a QB in college, but drafted as a WR. Then the QB Tensi went down, and Briscoe took over the rest of the year.
May he, who broke the glass ceiling so long ago, rest in peace.
(Sorry for the typo in the title, didn't catch that until it was too late. Mods if you could fix the man's name so it is spelled properly, I'd be much abliged.)
