    Top gun maverick

    Good movie. My first movie in 2 years.
    entertaining. How old is Tom cruise ?

    as an alt right 2a conservative gun nut I think fighter jets should be open for civilian purchase and use

      Saw it last night. Good movie, flowed well. I thought it was nice that Cruise gave a message in the beginning saying that they did the movie for us to enjoy, kind of a nice personal touch.

          Agreed. It was cool to see.

          did you think the ending was sort of predictable. I saw it coming a mile away (what cruise did at the end of the mission)

              yeah but anything else wouldn't have fit. It was set up when Goose saved someone in the beginning of the practice. I was thinking he might get killed until I saw he was acting like he wouldn't come back before the mission and then I started to think he would return. Its nice the way it ended, a nice hero story were everything works out. We've got used to movies putting in excessive twists for unpredictability that seem unbelieivable so this is a change. It was also good the movie didn't identify an enemy nation, no reason to do that. Good choice there.

                      I loved it, great entertaining movie. I have probably seen the original more then any other movie on earth. I think it was on repeat for several years when I was a kid. Other then the annoying kissing scene that we always fast forwarded through, I think I still know every line in the movie. Not going to lie there was almost a nostalgic tear that snuck out when they started playing the music at the beginning. Best in theater experience since End Game.

                          Cruise is a cultist moonbat in real life, but he's made some good movies. I haven't seen all his stuff, but I doubt he's got a better move out than this.

                          The making of clips on YouTube show the effort put in. Real military jets, real footage from inside the jets, the actors taking Gs, all of it. The military isn't dumb. Guys like Tom Cruise are better recruiters than they could ever be.

                          It's a very good movie.

                                  It was good and I was especially pleased it didn't get preachy with SJW crap being shoehorned into my mind like the Star Wars disasters.

                                  Then again it wasn't made by Disney which made it rather possible it wouldn't be preachy by promoting a gay pilot and a transgender Admiral.

                                  They didn't insult the fans of the original Top Gun. It was a sad moving part with Val Kilmer too.

                                      Well, finally got around to seeing this movie last night. And I have to say, it was a classic 80's silly mess that was just a lot of fun for the majority of its runtime.

                                      I will say that the movie starts with some kind of absurd scenarios, but ones that at least fit within the looser set of rules that the Top Gun universe operates upon. But, as the film progresses, it becomes increasingly more over the top.

                                      And, as much as I did genuinely enjoy this film over all, I still feel that the final 20 minutes kind of crosses the line between goofy action film premise into silly farce.

                                      I can still recommend it, the movie was just that much damn fun, but be prepared to roll your eyes at how ridiculous the ending becomes.

                                                        Great movie there. Say what you will about Cruise but one of the best movies there not just this year but of all.
