  • Josh Allen

I fist pounded for Allen. Watched tons of film, interviews, replays, etc.

    We took Chubb.

    Big mistake. Not my fault.

    I’m a Josh Allen fan.

You couldn’t look at his measurables, intangibles and interviews are not want to draft the kid….

I was seeing the next closest thing to Elway. Hard to forget.

      I just root for Allen.

I wonder if we wouldda stuck with him through those first two years ... we didn't with Lock.

Lotsa guys including Troy Aikman say Allen has the strongest arm they've ever seen.

It’s Elway like. His size, running skills, competitive spirit.

We blew it not taking him.

We should be finding out what we have in Lock.

                    my guess

allen is going to make plays with his legs in any offense. 9 rushing TDs. 29 total TDs in 2019 throwing to John Brown and Cole Beasly.

he would not suck in Denver throwing to Sutton , Sanders and Patrick

Notice how Titans keep bringing heat and changing it up?

Yep, not what Vic does. Sit in prevent and still get beat deep.

Low completion percentage in college usually doesn’t translate well to the NFL. Yes, he had a lot of “measurable” in college but he just wasn’t all that great of a QB. There were plenty of reasons to be wary of him, particularly after blowing it on Paxton Lynch.

Elway is a massive failure as gm, like 90 percent of his picks were pure trash

Could you imagine those first 2 years of he had Fangio and Joseph as his HCs?

It’s really deflating to think not only did a Lynch suck, but also may have biased us against a generational talent.

Heard it was 1/2 a yard with a slip. That hurts. Would have been nice to get back to back AFC contender wins on the road… darn

Yeah, shit happens. They sure didn’t catch a break or call. It’s fine. They will be 1 seed in AFC I believe.

Yeah, but again, I think being biased against him was very rational. He wasn’t a very good college QB, wasn’t anything special in the Mountain West, and had major accuracy issues. Two years into his NFL career it looked like he’d be replacement level at best. And then, against all odds, he became a top 5 level talent in year 3. I really think he was a massive gamble, one that certainly paid off.

Lol okay. The fact that you were so sold on him pretty much proves out “better lucky than good”!

I disagree with this narrative. Allen was being talked about a top QB talent in 2016 (his RS sophomore year) so there was something people/scout were seeing early. Second when you watched him play you saw the flash of talent. Chris Simms called out the so-called accuracy issue when he had has #2 QB in that draft.

In his NFL rookie and sophomore year, if you watched the games and not the stat line you saw that he was making the right reads on time. Yes there was learning curve but you saw that he was improving. Things did real click for him in his third year but that was because you knew he had the work ethic and drive to lead him to being elite.

I agree. I was all in. Look at Cardinals. The canned Rosen after 1 year. We missed out on a generational talent.
