  • Breaking : Benjamin Albright debunks the "QB competition" myth

Yes they settled for Kyle Orton. He has amazing stats but can't get the win.

But Bridgewater completes passes on 3rd and long to make it 4th and short. 3 of those a game is 10%difference in completion percentage. That must mean he's a better QB since stats after the game on paper is what really matters

Safe works with a very health line-up of offensive starters and a defensive that is stingy and consistent. The Broncos have neither of those.

The offense isn’t very good. With Shurmur, I’m not sure that changes. Vic is supposedly a defensive genius, and we’ve given him everything he could ask for. We aren’t a good defense either. Let’s not even talk special teams. We are circling the drain.

If we’re taking Allbright football knowledge as something actually important we might as well shut the board down. Dude doesnt know shit about football. Ill listen to his insider stuff but he has no background in actually scouting the game and hasnt been around camps long enough to hold any value.

That’s not “debunking” anything. There’s more to a QB competition than TD’s and Int’s in camp. As I’ve said before, I think a big part of it was the locker room.

The "safe" choice with 5 TOs the last two games.

Probably another staff could do what this one thought they could, win with a game manager while coaching balls out on offense and defense. Coaching to save your job makes you lose it faster.

Trade Bridgewater to Seattle, put Lock in there to play out the season, fire the staff from top to bottom on black monday, then Paton puts on the surgical mask and gets to work.

TBW hobbling after the game. It’s time for Lock.

Flashbacks of the Keenum days with as long as Teddy was holding the ball. Plus, the dude is terrified to run with it

Ya it’s going to be hilarious watching a terrible Keenum shred Fangios overrated soft defense.

                          Perfect time to fire him.

Old enough to remember when he claimed Baron Browning was predominantly an EDGE defender at O$U.

The defensive secondary is abysmal, and I thought that’s unit would be a bright spot. There were like 2-3 Rahim Moore moments yesterday… it was awful

Getting smoked by Keenum might be all time low point

                                  I hope Baker plays…

Keenum shredding us might be the lowest point in the team’s 60 year history.

It’s so inexplicably bad that you really have to wonder if coaching/scheme is a factor. Too much talent to be this bad.

Justin Simmons is the next Rahim Moore. We just aren’t good enough for playoffs.

I’ve never seen a prevent, read & react defense work. Fangio gets too hung up on stats. We lose momentum, time of possession, no turnovers, etc. By the time he starts blitzing and gets aggressive, it’s too late. Our offense finally scores on the first drive and it doesn’t matter because Fangio regularly digs us a hole by letting other teams score early.

Jackson has by far been a bigger liability in coverage on the back-end than Simmons has been this season.

I’m not sure, but they get beat over the top a lot… like more than I ever recall a Broncos defense getting beat that way… I’m terrified to se what KC and LA does… it might get ugly

I sure hope not. Watching a few guys jump, stretch and whiff made be sick to my stomach yesterday…. It feels kind of meant to be in a way though… like this isn’t the recipe the Broncos need… obviously
