  • Off-season: fire sale, new coach, draft

    We are here, again, yes?

At some point you play Lock to see what you have.

Paton should get ready for the meeting to happen soon. Shortlist at the ready. I’d fire Fangio & Shurmur. Not sure you can do that with special teams, but you are shooting for a high draft pick. So, put him in the mix too. Might be better to lose at Cleveland, hatchet & firesale.

    What say you?

Amen to that. Hope is gone after today. Good Lord. I’m ready for a too five draft choice. Let’s start trading for picks.

Which teams have spots of need, and which players on our roster aren’t part of the long term plan? Begin loading up on picks, with the idea you try to position yourself for the 2023 draft since it sounds like there is not QB option in this upcoming draft.

frankly not sure I’d do much at QB, just keep TBW and Lock on the roster next year since another dumpster dive won’t yield much more than what we already have. I’d play lock the rest of this year, can he be a long term backup here? Not sure but his development has certainly been ****ed up by this organization pre GM hire.

Frankly not sure it all matters much since there is no clear ownership. I’m actually surprised any reputable GM would take this job knowing that uncertainly looms heavy.

I wouldn’t be suprised to see good Hc prospects pass on this job. This organization is real ****ed up, and only had a brief reprieve because we were fortunate that Irsay is a tard and let Manning get away. Without Manning, this team
would have sucked for a long, long time..

McD, Radio, Fangio… it’s all terrible. I don’t want to list the QB garbage since Manning, it’s too terrible to look at.

Not very optimistic on the Broncos right now

Everyone is tradeable sans Surtain and Jeudy IMO.

every other player should be on the trade block if a team come sniffing around.

speaking of Jeudy no reason to bring him back for a while now. But im sure they’ll rush him on the field so he can **** himself up more in meaningless games.

Callahan is playing well and could get something for him. Doubt anyone would take Simmons contract. Sutton should be on a winning team. Would be cool to see him get that chance.

Need true owner, make sure Ellis is long gone, and keep your GM. Fire the coaches. Most of them. A few can stay. Start Lock & let Munchak be the head coach.

At this rate just keep Fangio, let shurmer keep running the O, maybe play Lick since he’s worse than Teddy. And Fangio and Shurmer are our best bet for a real good draft pick. Suck as hard as you can, then fire the head coach, let the new one come in and start the new “culture of winning.”

I think Sutton in GB would be a nice fit. Playing #2 to Adams could open him up for some favorable matchups. Buffalo makes a little sense as well.

No need to see Lock play. We know what he is. Saw it last year and should have addressed the position better than TB.

Had it on the mane for a while...but putting here seems appropriate....Lock as an FA next year....KC bound. His skill set isn't that different from Mahomes...and Andy Reid has a long history of turnign duds into studs. After signing in KC, Mahomes will miss some time. Lock will keep the ship afloat, and beat Denver at some point.

If Shanny Jr had Lock he’d look totally different. So much of our problem is coaching. Time to pull the plug on Fangio.

The Chiefs are dumb enough that they’d probably bench Mahomes for Lock, haha!

Our O-line is terrible. Real garbage. Same with the our D. I think the raiders had 24 in the first half without any turnover points. Can't stop the run and their receivers lived behind our safeties.

Our team is more talented then what it’s being coached to. We look unmotivated & unorganized.

                                          100% this.

I don't think the players believe in the coaches and the system.

Why do we allow ILBs to cover RBs? Why do we allow receivers to squat in wide open zones? Why is our OL seemingly regressing under its guru coach? Why do we have an OC and HC that seem lost? Why do we still have the same ST coach when we've sucked at them since he walked thru the door?

If all of this is obvious to fans, imagine what the players must be thinking.

Yeah, we’re not good enough up front on either side of the ball. The O-line gets the most criticism but the D-line isn’t good enough either.

A bunch of JAGs on the o-line with a below average, non-mobile QB who has a bum knee. What could possibly go wrong?
